Ian Walsh’s 6th annual Menehune Mayhem Surf event was held Saturday, March 28th at Maui’s Ho’okipa Beach Park. Walsh, an advocate for introducing and instilling a passion for surfing in Hawaii’s youth, created the free event with the help of O’Neill and Red Bull as a way giving back to the children and teens of Maui as well as showcasing what the surf culture and sport have to offer.

“I’m so excited to be able to host my contest again this year. Every year this event grows and with Red Bull and O’Neill really stepping up this year, the event should be better than ever. I’m so fortunate to have such great sponsors and event partners and all of the kids who come out and participate in the event this year will see why,” Walsh said regarding the event.
