SwellWomen Retreats:: Las Tres Hermanas

This week we had three sisters; Jen, Carolyn and Pamela join us for surf and yoga. Las Tres Hermanas were absolutely fun to have at our retreats. It was a treat to see these ladies enjoy themselves with our group and take time to have some sister quality time. Thanks for all the great talks and belly laughs.

SwellWomen Retreats:: Swell Surfing in Maui

We were very impressed by the newly (and quickly) formed skills of these surfing ladies. They were gun-ho and ready to go on our first day out. With our guests popping up all over the ocean break and catching their very first wave, it was hard to not have an ear to ear grin on my face. I was a proud surf mama watching my 14 incredible guests enjoying the same thing I do…Surfing in Maui.

There's no better classroom than a surf classroom outdoors!

We absolutely love it when we have returning guests come back to our retreats! It’s such an honor to know that our guests have enjoyed themselves so much that they are returning for more. Valerie, joined us for yet another round of surfing this past April and this is what she had to say about her trip:

“The SwellWomen Experience is like no other. Even on my second retreat, I learned things about surfing and myself, that I could have never hoped to learn by just taking surfing classes back home. The staff and the women are amazing. I’m already planning to return for a 3rd time!”

Thanks for much for sharing that with all us, it was very very nice. It made me miss Maui, and all the great women I had the pleasure of meeting. (Mike and Phil too)
Since we all were treated like princesses while @ Swellwomen, Amy and I have decided to do the “Princess half marathon in Disney” in March if anyone is interested. (COME ON MARCI)
My best to everyone, I hope to see some plans floating around for the next surf trip soon.

Besides surfing, yoga is a big portion of the retreat which incorporates some of the wellness portion of the week, as well as, helps to stretch out those surfing arms and shoulders. See some images below of our guest’s first Downward Facing Dog in paradise.
